Diary of a Radical Feminist

My thanks to both Alan and Sara who’ve independently emailed me to let me know how much they’re enjoying a blog, ‘Prevarications of the Perpetually Peeved: Diary of a Radical Feminist’. Having logged on, I can see why they’re enjoying it so much. A brief extract:

I have decided to redecorate.  I’m painting the walls of my home a deep blood-red.  All of them.  I had wanted to remove all signs of male oppression, but this proved problematic. I can’t find anything that doesn’t signify male oppression.  Therefore I need to introduce female empowerfulising artefacts into my home.  The vagina cushions are ordered, I have already sent clippings of my pubic hair to be added to the stuffing.  The vagina rug has arrived, although to be honest, it’s hard to tell exactly what it’s supposed to be.

Later on, my husband arrived home.  He’s been very quiet lately.  I suspect this is because he is thinking very deeply about the website I asked him to set up, Men As Sub-Human Entities.  He has a problem with the name, I think.  It’s hard to tell because he’s usually locked in the bathroom crying, and only comes out when I’m in bed.  I took him into the living room and asked him what he thought of the new decor.  He replied that he felt as though he had walked into the jaws of Hell.  ‘I chose this colour to represent the mother’s womb’ I said irritably.  Pointing at some darker lines trailing across the walls, he said  ’Interesting idea.  Are those veins?’   ‘No’  I said, touching one of them, ‘That’s Polyfilla.  It hasn’t dried yet’.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  1. Still laughing….by the way, “Men As Sub-Human Entities” was a proper title!
