Kate Winslet to play Erin Pizzey in a film about Erin’s life

Some great news. A film is to be made about the life of Erin Pizzey, and Kate Winslet is to star in it:

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  1. Byron, I agree. Intriguing that it’s taken a lady producer to get this rolling, and that a major actress is prepared to play Erin’s part. Surely signs that the tide is turning against militant ferminists, when prominent women are prepared to say to them, in effect, ‘Enough! You don’t represent us!!!’ I honestly can’t see how militant feminists could campaign against this film without revealing themselves in their true light for all to see.

    • Byron says:

Well, obviously, it depends how they frame it, what they choose to focus on. But unless they actually cut OUT the letter bombs & killing of her pets, the driving of Erin into exile.. I don’t see how any positive spin on feminism could be spun out of the story. This really could be something unprecedented & extraordinary.

  2. Byron says:

Whoah! If that story is told even half-truthfully, this could be huge! And even if its all hollywoodized beyond recognition, at least the people I speak to will at last know who Erin is when I talk about her…
