Why do some women fight for men’s human rights?

People who are unfamiliar with the men’s human rights movement (‘MHRM’) are sometimes surprised that some women self-identify as men’s human rights activists (‘MHRAs’). These fine women – who enjoy virtually universal strong appreciation from male MHRA’s – often get coverage on the American website ‘A Voice for Men’ (‘AVfM’) and many of the best blog pieces are written by them. An example is Kristina Hansen, one of AVfM’s Senior Editors. She’s just posted a typically strong piece on the website, explaining why she fights for men’s human rights. Enjoy:

If you don’t already subscribe to AVfM, I urge you to do so. It has contributors and commenters around the world, and it’s a daily education for anyone with an interest in men’s human rights.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.
