Rehabilitating the ‘disposable sex’

I’ve just been directed to an interesting piece concerning one of the leading academics in the small (but growing) band of academics prepared to speak with honesty about gender matters – Miles Groth, a psychology professor based at Wagner College, Staten Island. Enjoy:

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

I don’t mean to pre-judge that article, but the language seems couched in the usual male shaming language employed by feminists. I’ll give it a go though…

    • It’s worth reading. Miles Groth is a rock-solid supporter of men’s human rights. And there are few of those in academia today.

I was pleasantly surprised to be honest, and the article gave a very fair and honest appraisal of the barriers and issues facing men. Just as courageously it put the spotlight on the ideologically driven opposition to men’s rights, namely the militant feminist “women’s studies” academics that have by some miracle wormed their way into the mainstream of politics and media.

      • Thanks, but it’s anything but a ‘miracle’. It’s the consequence of a ruthless militant feminist strategy operating ‘under the radar’ for 30+ years. But they now know they’ve been rumbled, and there’s a tsunami of public anger – from both men and women – heading their way.
