Anti-feminism might become illegal in Nordic countries

It’s becoming commonplace to hear those with left-wing convictions (and feminists in particular) claim that anti-feminists hold extreme right-wing views and oppose equality. The claims are ridiculous. Feminism assaults left-wing men and women as much as it assaults right-wing men and women. Indeed, disadvantaged men (who we might expect in general to be left-leaning) in mid-life are particularly assaulted because they’re denied employment opportunities, and we know unemployment is a major driver of the high male suicide rate:

We support equality of opportunity, pay etc. but these things have existed in the UK for 30+ years. Equality of outcome is, by contrast, a left-wing utopian dream which requires anti-meritocratic social engineering initiatives to deliver, with many unintended consequences. Men and women make different choices in life, and that’s why we see different outcomes in the workplace and elsewhere.

During my recent Woman’s Hour discussion with the left-wing ‘comic’ writer John O’Farrell, he stated:

Mike’s movement is the male equivalent of the Ku Klux Klan during the fight to abolish slavery.

A Swedish father’s rights activist has just pointed me towards a remarkable story. Anti-feminist speech could be made illegal in Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway):

Militant feminists – with their male collaborators – are seeking to impose a degree of censorship onto those holding opposing views, which would have made Stalin blush with shame.

About Mike Buchanan

I'm a men's human rights advocate, writer, and publisher. My primary focus is leading the political party I launched in 2013, Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). I still work actively on two campaigns I launched in early 2012, Campaign for Merit in Business and the Anti-Feminism League. In 2014 I launched The Alternative Sexism Project, aiming to raise public understanding that the sexism faced by men and boys has far more grievous consequences than the sexism faced by women and girls.

  1. Mech Shop says:

The opposite is in fact the case.
Look at it this way, you have the collections of hypocrisies that justify the base dogma.
Like claims that rape is worse in Sweden than Sub-Saharan war zones.
Then what is actually done, suppression of freedoms, forced indoctrination etc.

Swedish radical feminist do have many functional similarities to 1930’s German national socialism. While the reasons are quite different for there existence, Germany it was a response to the grossly unfair treaty of Versailles and loosing WWI. Feminism it seems mostly its out of hate. This is quite similar to the worst aspects of German National Socialism, that is its irrational hated of other races, religions and sexual orientation. With feminism its gender and sexual orientation, that is men, boys and normal male sexuality wile elevation women to the Übermensch class at the expense of all others.

  2. Actually the Ku Klux Clan only came into existence AFTER slavery had already been abolished so John O’Farrel’s reference to it is incorrect.

  3. Alex Brown says:

I used to be left wing. I now don’t apply the left/right dichotomy to myself anymore.

I find the fact that some left wingers are acting like Nazis and trying to control free speech hypocritical.

Feminism has infested the left like a virus. As a meme feminism plays on humanity’s pro-female, anti low status male instincts.

    • Thanks Alex. I agree with your points bar one. All the critics of feminism I know are perfectly clear that feminism hasn’t ‘infested’ the left. It stems from the left. It is an example of dualism and arises ultimately from Marxism. It’s perfectly natural, then, that feminists would demonise, disadvantage, and if necessary harm and even kill men (whether by direct or indirect means) who oppose the advantaging of women in general, and of feminists in particular.
